We saw Zandra for the first time when we took Luna to West Chicago to breed her to Pat Murphy's Ch. Oaklara Shadow of the Moon.  At 8 months of age, Zandra had already developed her incredibly outgoing personality, and she won my heart immediately.  After several months I was able to convince Pat that Zandra should be a part of the Dashadon pack, and she came to live with us in October, 1999. 

Zandra finished her championship with a string of wins in the spring of 2001, including four Bests of Breeds over specials.  After limited showing during the summer and fall, she was awarded First Award of Merit at the Borzoi Club of California winter specialty show.  She is currently on maternity leave from the show ring as she regrows her coat following the birth of the Movie Litter.

Zandra has full dentition, a scissors bite, and is 30" tall.  The first time she showed she took the blue ribbon in the 12-18 month class at the Rocky Mountain Borzoi specialty show.  She became quickly known for her incredible ground covering gait.

Zandra is one of the shameless flirts of the Dashadon pack and has made several show-and-tell trips to special education classes in the Mesa schools.  We are grateful to Pat Murphy, Oaklara Borzoi, for trusting us with this beautiful girl.
